Snickers is a handsome four year old tri-colored Brittany. Snickers and his 11 year old brother, Jesse, were surrendered to NBRAN after a change in family situation. So, they packed their bones and moved from Texas to Arizona. Currently Snickers is living in the same foster home with his sibling, Jesse. We do not expect them to be adopted together but it would be great if they could as Jesse is used to watching out for his younger sibling, Snickers.
Snickers is an active boy that will require an active family to keep him focused. He is very smart and would be an excellent candidate for obedience training and/or hunt training. But currently, he has absolutely no recall, and can not be trusted off leash. We also recently discovered that Snickers has the ability to jump skyscrapers with a single bound.....ok maybe not that high....but he can jump 5-6 ft fences when he feels the need to explore. Snickers will require a yard with a minimum six-foot, block wall, fence. No chain link.
Snickers is just a typical young Brittany boy who needs a great family to train and work with him. He is trustworthy in the house, housebroken to a dog door, and good with other dogs. He is doing better about being crated. Snickers vaccines are up to date, he is neutered, tested for heartworm, tick and lyme disease and microchipped. His adoption donation is $400.
Our adoption process includes an application, interview, home visit and vet reference. Please complete an application via our website at www.nbran.org. You may also contact Snickers' foster at firstname.lastname@example.org.
