CAPRI, along with three "sisters", came to us after being dumped on Wye Mountain, a rural area west of Little Rock. We suspect they came from a puppy mill operator or a breeder who no longer wanted them. It sounds sort of sad, doesn't it ... well not for these lucky girls!
When OOTW was contacted to assist, residents of the area were feeding these babies, but they could not catch them because they were too skittish. OOTW volunteers set traps and within three days, 4 of the 5 were captured (we are still hopeful to get the fifth pup!)
Very afraid when arriving, they have no settled in nicely. They are still a bit skittish, but they realize that humans are a good thing. They weigh just under 20 pounds and are full grown. All have been fully vetted and they are all heartworm negative (yippee!)
These girls appear to be housebroken (they will use a puppy pad), crate trained (they love their crate!), playful and energetic. They are all very bonded to each other and we call them the "Rat Pack" ... we would be happy to adopt them in pairs, however, if you do not want two of these dogs, if you have another dog in your home, that would be a plus for these girls. A fenced yard is a must because they LOVE to run and they are super fast! These little dolls are very loving and want to be in your lap and laying on the bed next to you.
Capri is a nice laid back girl and is happy laying around on the sofa or next to you in bed. She has a beautiful coat and has a dark muzzle ... her ears stand up with no tipping and her nickname is "Radar"! :)
To set a meeting to meet one (or more) of these girls, just email Georgia at email@example.com
