All dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested/started on prevention prior to being adopted.
Claire will be moving from her temporary foster home in OH to her foster home in MI as soon as we can arrange a transport. We're going to miss her little wiggly butt.
Claire is a little Chihuahua that was picked up as a stray and ended up at a pound. Scared and not trusting, the volunteers there worked with her everyday to help her overcome those fears. Claire is still a little iffy when it comes to new people she meets but learns to trust.
She apparently had an injury to her eye before being picked up by the dog warden. We applied an ointment 3 times a day and her little scratch has healed. Her heart if good, her few teeth that she has left are pretty nasty but will be cleaned up while she is in for her spay.
Claire is a little vocal when she can't be with her people so someone that is home most of the day or that can take her to work with them would be ideal. She is tiny so we don't recommend her for a family that has young children not used to being around little ones. Families with children that have been around little ones should be ok as long as they are not trying to pick her up. Claire is still a little unsure of little people.
Her back legs are a little wobbly at times but she can run just as fast as any of the other dogs in her foster family.
