Cookie is the perfect name for this sweet grey & white kitty (she has a white tip on her tail!). Like so many rescue cats, she had a hard beginning in life.
Cookie was found in a mechanics shop in Reseda as a kitten. Unfortunately she developed a large polyp in her right ear that was very painful but her foster Mom was unable to afford medical care for her. Kitten Rescue took her in and she underwent surgery in October. The wonderful surgeon removed a benign ear polyp that most likely began as an untreated common ear infection. She has fully recovered and the doctor has given the OK for her to be adopted.
The only memory of this is her cute head tilt (she looks like she is intently listening to you) and when she walks it is a little wobbly (looks like she is on a cruise ship making her way across the deck). Other than the normal yearly exam, the doctor does not anticipate any future problems. She is a sweet girl who is learning to trust people.
Cookie loves to play with her toy mouse - she can toss it high in the air. She gets along with other cats but would do best in a home as an only cat or with another docile cat who will not threaten her.
