Doc (full name Dr. Watson) has a long tube like body and long skinny tail, long triangle face with big ears and striking bright emerald green eyes - all tell-tale signs of having some Oriental shorthair in him. He is a complete sweetie to people, vocal, and VERY playful with lots of energy. He will pour on the charm to try and get the one thing he wants in all the world: TREATS!!!! He might need a day to adjust to a new environment but then he warms up quickly, especially if you happen to have food. He even goes so far as to plop down on your lap and roll over and around giving you his best "I'm so adorable and sweet give me something good to eat" poses. He purrs it up and does not mind being picked up but has a bit too much energy to be in your lap for long. He is very inquisitive and curious. He really enjoys interactive toys like those on a string. He is quite the talker and likes to tell you all about his day when you get home. He needs to be the only animal in his forever home, because other animals make his personality change completely. Honestly, if no animals are around, he is sweet as sugar and will let you do just about anything you want to him. He is a feline diabetic so he has to have insulin shots and have his blood sugar checked occasionally (things we can teach you to do easily). He is so good about it! He makes biscuits on his foster mom's lap while she tests his blood sugar and rumbles his purr all through out. He seeks out ear scritches and petting so that you will test his blood sugar. He is a carb fiend but he will only get a treat after tested and his blood sugar isn't too high.
