When you first meet him, Ebert comes off as aloof, especially when surrounded by loud dogs at the shelter. Get him to a quieter area, give him some time to de-stress, and he's a different dog. Slowly but surely he warms up, and believe us, he's worth the wait. Ebert's egg-like head and beady eyes are wildly charming. One look from him, with his ear-to-ear grin, and you know you're in for some fun. This boy loves to chase tennis balls and chew on toys. His enthusiastic play-time prance will crack you up. He has a blast with his dog friends in our daily playgroups, too! This cutie came to us with little training, so he's working hard on his leash-walking skills. He gets riled up when he sees other dogs while he's leashed, but he's learning to pay attention to his person (and get tasty treats!) instead. Ebert is also working on the basics and will be a fun student for his adopter to continue to train. We're not sure how Ebert is around cats or children, but he may be able to live with another playful dog. Ebert is a fun-loving dude who just needs to get out of the busy shelter to really shine. Can you give him the peaceful and happy home he so needs? In return, he'll bring a smile to your face many times a day. Come meet him!
