DOGS Are in Foster Homes. There is no shelter. firstname.lastname@example.org
Farah isn't the type for small kids. She's not the family dog type. She is still very timid and would do best in an adult enviroment or with older less active kids. Or even just one young child like 8 and older. She darts away from noise. No aggression, but think 2 young kids and lots of noise or fast moving may stress her She is also 6 months. She is a little shy but warms up fast. She is quiet and sweet, loves all the dogs and kids. She was petrified and feral when we got her. She has come so far. She is crate trained, housebroken. She could go to an adult only family or older children, but would need some time and consistency to adjust. She can be a cuddler. And likes to play.
**Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We also WILL NOT adopt to anyone who keeps their dogs outside. **We also WILL NOT adopt to homes with unaltered dogs or cats. **We do not transport. **See our website for more information. www.HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com 2. Meet with the dog(s) 3. Verification of Home 4. Adoption Contract 5. Bring treats.
The adoption fee/donation ranges from $100 (special needs & senior dogs) to $350 for adults based on their needs and $400-450 for puppies 1 year and under.
The adoption fee helps cover expenses for all dogs while in the rescue program including the vet exams, vaccines, heartworm testing, stool check, spay/neuter, monthly Heartworm & Flea preventative plus other necessary veterinary care and training to get the dog ready for adoption.
This is the first time in many years we have raised the adoption fee but vets, medications and dog food has gone up and now so must our adoption fees.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to come and meet the dogs. We work BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
