Pretty Darned Pleased With Myself For Being A Cat
“Good afternoon! I’m Frannie, and I’m a Cat! What? You knew I was a Cat just by looking at me? Well, how nice! I say I am little and cute and black and white – and yes, I am a Cat. And pretty darned pleased with myself for being a Cat, too! Understand, of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that I like Cats who aren’t me. If they’re not me, how can I trust them? And some of them aren’t little – or cute, either, in my opinion.”
“I came here to find me some people. Real, loving, cat-appreciating people. Cat-loving people who will pet my sweet girl head and admire my paws and let me walk on them. Real people who offer me munchies and big bowls of tuna and chicken and turkey. Meaty things! I am a carnivore and I am proud of being a carnivor. I am Frannie.”
“I may have waited tables at a roadside Howard Johnson’s in one of my previous lives. Met lots of travelers and truckers. Loved serving up lemon meringue and banana cream pies. Might have eaten a few myself. Ooops! Not allowed. When one has nine lives, one doesn’t want to do the same thing every time. So, this time, I am a Cat – Frannie a cat. Frannie a friendly cat, looking for a people or two with love and appreciation and a cupboard full of carnivore food.”
“Are you ready to play? Are you ready for life with a cute little black and white cat? I am ready for life with you. If you stop in to Feline Rescue, you’ll see me. And, if I’m lucky, you’ll say, ‘Awww…’ and worry about my little chewed up ear (It’s OK – it doesn’t hurt). If I’m really lucky, you’ll have $120 with you and you’ll use it to adopt me forever and ever. Hug me!”
If you'd like to know more about me, just stop in at the Adoption Center to meet me or leave a message for my human assistant at 651-642-5900 ext. 3. She'll call you back.
