Description*:Gabby is spayed and up to date on her shots, microchipped and she has been thru and completed an obedience training course thru Alpha School of K9 obedience in Springdale AR. She is a very smart loyal and beautiful dog. She is supposed to be an English Bulldog mixed with a jack Russell terrier AKA hybrid breed. She is fully grown almost 3 yrs old and maybe 30lbs by now. She has gone to the vet each year and has a clean bill of health. She has a cage that she sleeps in she is very well housebroken uses a dog door she never has accidents in our house or on our beds or furniture... She loves attention and loves to snuggle and play.
Gabby is a great dog with a lot of love to give our problem is Gabby has some behavioral aggression issues. She has some fear and anxiety of other dogs which leads to dog aggression. She's bullying my Chihuahua constantly ... she has bitten me several times at dog class. The dog trainer says she is just stubborn and wants to be the alpha even over me. She gets so anxious and upset when other dogs are around she will get just so worked up with fear and shaking and when I won't let her lunge after other dogs and she has instead nipped at me quickly many times. As soon as dog class was over I never got bit again. Until my stepson showed up a few weekends ago unannounced with a large Golden Retriever with him and she bit my knee as I was trying to get her put up and away from the other dog that ran up on her way too fast out of nowhere that I didn't even know was at my house until I was letting her outside. Her dog class had 30 something dogs in close quarters she just can't handle that pressure and anxiety of the other dogs. She is not a dog you could take to a dog park or to PetSmart to walk around.
At home she listens to her commands lovely and obeys pretty decent still has room to continue training but a pretty good looking and acting dog. Next problem she also doesn't tolerate my Chihuahua eating anywhere near her. I have to feed them at different times and rooms or else I will have a small dog fight going on because she will go after the smaller dog. She listens to me a lot better than my husband but I'm the one who did the dog class with her and has been caring for her since the beginning. She's always been more receptive to me.
Next problem she has nipped at my 13-month old son and that can't happen. However, we have an 8yr old 11 year old and two teenage boys and she has never even tried to bite them. She even follows the baby around licking kissing laying with him and when he cries she goes running to him. But when she's had enough she has had enough. Gabby has some issues that maybe with more training and work might get better but I feel she will be best in a home as a single dog. No other animals at all. We do have a hamster and she doesn't try to even bother it. But no cats or dogs also maybe in a house with no children or definitely older children. She needs room to exercise she runs the neighborhood and comes back when called loves walks. She has a lot of love to give someone I love Her a lot and am sad to have to rehome her. She has a small rehoming fee. She will come with her cage and her blanket. Some of her dog food so she can be slowly transitioned to whatever you would like to feed her. Her leash, collar , her rabies tag, and her training collar. I will show you what commands she does know and how to work her on the leash if you are interested. She will also come with a shot record and her microchip information so that can be changed to your information. Contact me for more info or better pictures. I was having a hard time getting her to hold still last night and the room was dark.
