Garfield is an orange, female tabby cat. She has spent most of her 10 years in a basement with little human contact except when being fed once a day. She is mostly feral, so far only one person at the vet’s office has been able to pet her without being scratched. She has yet to be held by anyone but is very slowly becoming more friendly. She was fostered for a little bit in January 2015. She is spayed and is up to date on all of her shots and vaccinations. Garfield is also litter box trained.
She is a special needs cat that requires a loving home with a patient owner who has experience with cats. She should do well if she has a quiet room in a home that has few disturbances. In time, hopefully, she will become a more affectionate cat that will play and like to be around her loving owner.
Please fill out an application from our website if you would like to meet Garfield.
