Trapped in a Bay Ridge backyard, Gizelle was assumed to be a feral cat. But when Brooklyn Animal Action rescuer Tara picked her up from the clinic, she learned that Gizelle was already spayed—which means she must have been someone’s cat at some point, only to be abandoned. Tara couldn’t bring herself to release Gizelle—dump her!—back outside again, so she brought her home and set her up in a comfy cage.
Soon enough, it was obvious that Gizelle is not feral at all. She’s shy at first, but extremely affectionate once you get to know her and earn her trust. After that, she pushes her face into yours and purrs louder than you can possibly believe. She shows you just how grateful she is to be back indoors, where she belongs, and would make a perfect one-and-only cat.
Gizelle is approximately 5 years old, spayed, negative for felv/FIV, and up to date on vaccines. If you’d like to meet this tortie bombshell, contact Tara Green at email@example.com!
