NEFA (New, Extraordinary, Friend, Always) came to us with high recommendation. The shelter staff adored her. She had been at the shelter since March and getting very tired of the shelter life. She is part of our "I'm Special" group of dogs within our rescue. Each of our "I'm Special" dogs' adoption fee is $40. What makes our sweet Nefa special is that she has been with us for several months.
Since being in Foster Care, she has been every bit the great dog that the shelter staff said she was while at the shelter. Her family had to give her up for housing reasons. Their new rental agreement did not allow pets.
Nefa lived inside the home as their loved pet. She was raised with children and another dog. Did great with both. Children should be big enough to be knock over proof. She currently is fostered with a young Catahoula mix as well as a senior Doberman. They do great together. She does like to be alpha and her doggie pals are good with that!
She loves the water and outdoor activities. She loves to please and will benefit from a family that includes her in their weekend and or daily outings.
Nefa is 4 years old. In the shelter, her paperwork states she weighed 76 pounds. She has trimmed down to about 70 pounds.
