Jasper Justice was discovered in August of 2014 alone and suffering from severe neglect. Covered in mange and emaciated, Jasper was quickly taken into the care of rescue volunteers, and within six short weeks, he made a remarkable transformation into the healthy and beautiful dog he is today.
This guy is a 1 and a half-year-old, 55 lb, dilute brindle pit bull mix who has the most gorgeous coloring of grays, creams, and orange hues. He's a champ on the leash and shows incredible respect for his human friends and handlers, which is amazing considering that he'd probably never known kindness before he became a part of our adoption program. Jasper loves water play, fetching, and socializing with people. He responds quickly to training, so he's searching for someone who will continue to guide him through his process and provide him with consistency. Without a doubt, Jasper Justice will be someone's very special best friend and trusted companion one day.
Although he's shown only slight interest in the other animals that surround him during his boarding experience, we feel Jasper would prefer to be your only pet. He also would do best in a home without small children.
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $225.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.
