This is Julian. He was turned in as a stray, and could not be handled by staff at intake. We pulled him into foster, where he did not like the other dogs or husband. He went to a new foster where he's done well. However, he is still growly and will sometimes snap and nip. He is a bit unpredictable and will need a home without younger children (12 or over) that is experienced in handling challenging dogs. He is neutered, up to date with shots, and had a dental. Julian requires high-quality food and a few supplements to maintain his skin health. Julian's adoption fee is $225.00. For an adoption application, please email email@example.com

Pet Helpers, Inc. is a totally volunteer foster based 501 (c) non profit pet rescue located in Fairmont, WV. We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet. We do not fly or use transport companies. Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens. Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough. If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done. All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet. All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7. The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family. You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval. This will enable us to accept another pet into that home. Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc. They are not to be sold or given away.
