Kingston is considered a "special" needs dog. He is very timid/fearful and needs an experienced dog person. He needs gentle encouragement and training. We feel a home where he is the only dog would be best. He needs to be in an adult only home. Kingston needs a fenced yard at least 6 ft. and a safe area away from busy streets. He needs someone very patient to work with him, taking baby steps. You must will willing to work with Kingston at the shelter for weeks/months. He needs to be able to trust you & feel safe & secure. Are you that person? Come to the shelter & speak with the staff. No matter how much time it takes, Kingston still deserves a loving forever home!
PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. We do not do same day adoptions or ship animals. For additional information on our adoption policies, visiting hours and directions please go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.
