Kitten season has started and we are swamped with adorable, fluffy, playful kittens of all shapes and sizes!! Come visit the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center today to find your new best friend!! Some kittens where in foster care where they may have been introduced to adult cats, dogs or other critters. Some are already spayed or neutered and can come home with you today!
Some are shy, some are outgoing - we have a kitten to match your disposition! Come check us out! Our low, low adoption fee of only $60 covers neutering, spaying, microchips, wormings and all shots and all medical attention if required (usually pain meds for females). A "free" kitten from a friend or off Craigslist will cost you almost $400 for all these services!
Stop in today but please be aware we do have some basic requirements for adoption:
Be 18 or older with a picture ID with your current address.
Renting? Bring a copy of your lease with the pet clause CLEARLY stated.
Resident cats or dogs? Bring proof of their current rabies and city license.
Disclaimer: Please do not call asking for a particular kitten pictured. We have many adorable kittens available but those pictured may be adopted! Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center has wonderful pets available for adoption. As of December 6, all animals are now at the new shelter at 341 Birdneck Road. The former shelter on Leroy Drive is now closed. If you have lost a pet, please visit the shelter in person and often as lost animals arrive everyday.
