Liberty and her 3 littermates along with their mom, Shelly, were found at Tanger Mall waiting for a concerned person to make that one phone call that would get them off the streets. That call didn't come until the middle of February 2011. These four babies were born around Dec. 2010 and lived outside in some hedges in the cruel winter days/nights of 2011 for the first 2-1/2 months of their life. Mama Shelly we think was around 2-3 years old. All have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on shots/rabies, negative for FIV/Felv, litter trained and enjoying being inside kittens in a warm house.
Liberty has that little black diamond outline around her pink nose reminding you of a bell. Hence the name, Liberty. Montana is the 'man' of the pack. Would you just look at those giraffe legs!! He looks like he will be a big kitty but lanky. Very friendly, likes to lay in your lap and be petted and if you listen closely, will hear him purr softly. Hannah is the little sister. She was the smallest one of the litter and just as friendly as Montana. She is also friendly and likes to be held. Austyn was the last one caught which was about 3-4 days later. Even though kitten food was being left for her to eat, she was alone those days without her mama to take care of her.
If you think Montana, Hannah, Liberty, Austyn or even Mama Shelly, would make a great addition to your family, email firstname.lastname@example.org for an interview and appointment to see them.
With CAAWS since 2/25/11 Liberty is being cared for in a foster home.
