I am one of six siblings born in an industrial park to a feral mom who was trapped and spayed. We were trapped near the end of the age period when taming feral kittens is easiest, so some of us are a bit on the shy side; especially at adoption clinic. We will need special, understanding homes, but warm up quickly once we get to know you. All of us have been exposed to, and got along with, large cat-friendly dogs as young kittens. Our date of birth is October 15th, 2012.
I am the shyest of my siblings and am still very much in the process of trusting humans and getting used to being a pet. I will definitely need special attention and a particularly devoted home, but I’m really cute, though, and like hanging around with you, even if I am not quite ready to jump in your lap or be swept up and carried around. I may do best as an only cat because then I will probably bond to you or another member of the household. Nevertheless, I do get along fine with other cats and enjoy getting up to the usual feline shenanigans with them! My rescuers can talk to you about my needs as a shy cat and how to best help me get over it. I am a hard-to-place kitty and really need a special someone to give me a chance! Are you that special someone?
Come see me at Petco, 6300 San Mateo NE at San Mateo/Academy Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-5pm.
When you do bring me home, make a "safe" room for me while I get used to the smells and sounds of my new home. I'll adjust better this way! This will also give me a "safe" place to go if I get scared.
