Luke came to us with his feline housemates after their owner passed away. He is a laid-back but very friendly and social fellow, greeting visitors at the door and supervising their activities while they are there. His favorite things are being petted, conversing with us in his trademark squeaky voice, receiving canned food meals, and relaxing in a sunny window with his housemates. Once he gets to know you, he likely will enjoy being your cuddly companion for tv time as well! He would benefit from the company of at least one other cat in his new home - perhaps even one of his former housemates, if you have room in your home and heart for two!
He does well with other cats, but we do not know how he will do with dogs.
Luke is up to date on his vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FLV. He had a dental cleaning last summer, along with a bloodwork panel that indicates he is in good general health. He does have an ongoing issue with diarrhea (but faithfully uses his litterbox) which has kept him a little underweight, but we are working to resolve that.
