Maddison is a loving 10-year-old, 13 pound Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix. She's totally precious! She has a mostly mellow, laid-back demeanor. She adores basking in the sun or curling up in a warm blanket but don't let that fool you! She perks right up when she sees the leash or wants to go investigate the neighborhood on a walk. She's quite spry for her age and will jump for joy when she feels like it. Although she's mostly quiet and easy-going, she's happy to join the chorus of pups in her house to let you know someone is at the door or if a cat is intruding on the property. She's great with new people though, so she'll befriend your guest as soon as they enter!
Maddison was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in August 2016. She is responding well to medication and could live several more years as long as she continues with her heart medication. It doesn't seem to effect her great personality and she still matches her energy to yours - lounging when it's time to lounge and perking up when it's time for a walk or something fun!
Maddison came to us from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter.
