Margaux is a gorgeous chocolate mini dachshund
who is a puppy mill survivor. Dogs living in puppy mills, as Margaux did, are
forced to stay in small crates or pens at all times. Although Margaux has been
out of the puppy mill for a while, she is still shy and sensitive, but loves to
sit in your lap and snuggle. Being a chocolate dachshund, Margaux has very thin
hair. To help with her skin and coat, she eats a high quality commercially
prepared raw diet with added supplements. Also, as can often happen with shy
dogs, Margaux sometimes has submissive urination when you pet her or start to
pick her up. She has also been slow on house training because she's afraid to
go outside. With time, patience and love, this should all disappear. We believe
Margaux would thrive in a quiet home with a human or humans who will work
patiently with her to build up her confidence and help her feel secure. This
sweet girl deserves a chance! Margaux is good with other dogs but not sure
Adoption fee is $200.
