"Upper Peninsula Animal Wefare Shelter"
(formerly Marquette County Humane Society)
Mimi is an absolutely adorable kitty with a sweet personality and a gentle soul. She loves to cat nap the day away, enjoys some gentle petting and a few treats. Mimi is a quieter kitty that would do best in quieter home to match.
Mimi has a condition called Hyperesthesia. Hyperesthesia involves an abnormal increase in sensitivity to stimuli of the sense. Feline hyperesthesia syndrome is an uncommon but recognized condition in cats. The disease is characterized by brief bursts of abnormal behavior, lasting around a minute or two. For Mimi it feels like there is a bug or something similar biting at her tail. But Mimi is very very sweet. She is currently on medication and it is helping her feel better. The medication is very simple to give Mimi and is also very inexpensive.
Mimi would love a home where she can feel safe and loved. Where someone will understand that her condition doesn't stop her from being a loving and gentle kitty that deserves a wonderful home. Please contact us about Mimi. We are happy to answer any questions about her.
