Compact little love machine!
Rough, tough mama! Rose, the red tabby mom who lived under the ATM in the parking lot of the local bar, has seen it all. People have come and gone, people were either kind or mean, but Rose found herself a little bush, a scrap of loading dock, and a way up inside the post of an AM machine.
When the kittens came, as you knew they would, didn't you, little bitty Rose, scrappy and tough, kept them safe. In fact, those kittens would still be hidden by their mom, had it not been for a torrential downpour that drove them out of their little ATM hideout and into the rocks beneath.
A Happy Cat Adoptions foster was pulling up to the ATM when he saw the little miserable faces under the bushes, and after a four-hour struggle to get all the kittens (Rose went into the trap with little fuss), the tiny family was ensconced in a warm, dry cage with loads of food.
Rose finally had the opportunity to be a kitten herself, for the first time. She was about 7 months when she got pregnant, a baby having babies, and once safely in a foster home, she learned to romp and play and wrestle and run. She's a "real cat" now, her foster dad says.
Rose needs a real home, one where she will be cherished for all of her life. Not particularly bonded to her children, who were separated and sent to a different foster home for six weeks, Rose stlll really likes other cats, and is companionable with Valentine and Ceecho. An adoption to a home with a playful cat or with one of her buddies would be ideal.
Rose is a funny girl, but she loves people. She's tough, resilient, and ready for play or pets. To find out more about her, email her foster dad directly at email@example.com or to meet her, go to her webpage at www.happycatadoptions.org and fill out the online adoption form.
