Sabrina is a fantastic companion dog. She is incredibly loving and loyal, and she is the best at cuddling. Sabrina is a girl that wants to be with her people. She wants to be with you when we are home and loves to ride along with you if you need to run errands. Sabrina seems to love everyone she meets and gets really excited when she encounters new people. She can be excitable and rambunctious in her play, so she would do best in a home where any children are at least 6 years old.
Sabrina is house trained and crate trained. She does well in a crate provided she is getting sufficient exercise. She is pretty energetic and really appreciates consistent exercise (walks or playing in the yard). She is great on a leash and loves to go for hikes. Although she has a minor orthopedic issue, it has been checked by a specialist who recommends no intervention - just to let her tolerance for exercise guide her activity. Her fosters have taken her for hikes up to 5 or 6 miles without difficulty.
Sabrina loves all people; she is more selective about her doggy friends. She particularly doesn't like it when other dogs approach her quickly when she is on leash. However, she is happy to walk along with dogs she has been properly introduced to. She might be able to live with a sociable male dog, but we think she would really prefer to be your one and only.
All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.
Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
