Tommy Girl is a shy kitty. Out of her “family” group of 3 (along with “Norma Jr.” and “Baby”), Tommy Girl purrfurs her “me” time the most. She holds court like a true matriarch, and has always been allotted the R-E-S-P-E-C-T she deserves in the family. Originally the only pet cat of a woman who fed the outside cats in her neighborhood, when Tommy Girl’s “mom” passed away, her very dedicated “dad” took over her care and that of all of “her cats” (indoor and alley) in his wife’s honor. He also brought inside a couple of street urchins – Norma and her little son, Baby. TG’s “dad” understood that his girl’s sometime aloof demeanor was “just her way of getting along in the world” and loved her for her independent streak. He very much coddled and indulged her because, as he maintained, she was “his wife’s baby” and he “couldn’t think of a better reason why” she deserved it. Unfortunately, TG’s dad passed away last November, and the cats, including Norma Jr. and Baby, are now in temporary custody of a boarder until the house changes hands. Tommy Girl has really been missing her dad. She spends her time on his bed sleeping with his old blanket. Please consider giving Tommy Girl a new home!
