Tortie's foster mom adores her. She wrote: "Tortie rings the bells on the door when she has to go out. She just loves to be in the yard (she's a great gardening buddy :-), so a home with a physical fence would be ideal for Tortie. This pup has personality plus! She gets along great with my male and female dog, but her ideal companion would be a mellow guy who doesn't mind a little sister who steals his toys. "Best of all, Tortie is SO smart! She is very treat-motivated and quickly learns anything you want to teach her; she would love a family who will take her to classes to learn even more. She is crate-trained, but rarely needs to be in her crate anymore because she's so well-behaved. I have to admit, this is one foster dog that I would keep if I could -- she's just that wonderful!" She's now 3 years old and 56 lbs. This happy, playful pup is spayed, microchipped and eager to meet her new family -- could it be yours? Please stop by an upcoming Meet & Greet to find out if Tortie is the right pet for you! (Local adoptions preferred -- Philadelphia and tri-state area only.) / PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US!
