Tyler was in rough shape when a Temple student found her and called City Kitties for help. She had several bite wounds and was very hungry! Now Tyler is all better and looking for a home of her own.
When she was found, she was super friendly and let her rescuer scoop her up and put her in her carrier. Now she is at the vet awaiting a foster home and is very scared at the vet. It took a little while for her to adjust to life inside, but now she is a happy, playful lady. She loves playing with toy mice, but also paper clips, or pencils, or bottle caps, or anything else she can bat around.
Tyler has a gorgeous, soft coat, and likes to be pet or to curl up right next her foster mom (although not on her lap). She comes running to greet her people when they arrive home from work, and is very social. She likes affection - but occasionally gets a little over stimulated, so she would do best in a home without young children.
Tyler is 3-4 years old, spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, received a fecal exam to test for parasites, uses the litter box, and was treated for fleas and parasites as needed.
About City Kitties' Veterinary Care: We provide high quality veterinary care for our foster cats and kittens. Each animal is spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, and receives age-appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies), and flea/parasite treatment as needed. Since they live in foster homes, you can see our adoptable animals in a familiar, stress-free environment, and their foster parents can tell you all about their personalities. If you have questions a week, a month, or even a year after adoption, we're available for guidance and support.
How to Adopt from City Kitties: Our adoptable animals are housed in private foster homes. The first step in meeting an adoptable animal is to fill out an adoption application. To ensure a lifelong match between you and your new pet, our adoption process involves an application, reference check, and a visit to your home at the time of adoption. Our adoption fee is $85 to help subsidize the cost of veterinary care. You can read more about the adoption process and fill out an application on our website, www.citykitties.org.
