Walley is part of a litter that was rescued from a feral colony shortly after their mama weaned them. Very ill, they would've surely died without our intervention though this is not usually recommended.
Despite being born feral, Walley and his siblings were socialized early enough that they are now very sweet and loving. Of all the kittens in the home, Walley is the one always cuddled up with another cat if his human isn't available. He just likes that security of another being.
Walley is also the one who hates going to events the most and these types of cats can have problems getting adopted when people assume they're the same at home - they're not! All cats hate change, some more than others. But, once adopted, these cats adjust to their new situation with just some love and patience. Because Walley is a little more skittish than the others, he probably would do best in a dog-less and maybe even a child-less home.
Born on 3/15/14, Walley is up to date on his vaccinations and neutered. He and his litter mates are FIV & FeLV negative.

I adopted my baby from DARS and it went very smoothly. I really like the fact that they foster them in their homes so they know them very well. I appreciate the time and care they take in selecting the best match for the animals and they couldn't have been nicer!
