Willow is an active dog with a gentle spirit. Abandoned by her family, Willow longs to have a family to love. She likes to be close to her people and would do well in a home where she was not left alone too often. Willow seems to really enjoy children, older kids especially, and she plays well with dogs of similar size. At 52 lbs., this Lab-Pointer mix pup is an excellent birdwatcher but unfortunately her interest is purely culinary! If you have pet birds, critters, cats or small dogs in your home, Willow is not the right fit for you. She gets along very well with dogs similar to her in size but sees small creatures as prey. She's a good girl but is wired to hunt! That's just the way some dogs are made. Willow can jump! That’s great if you are looking for a dog who can shoot some hoops but it also means her playtime in a fenced yard must be supervised. She can easily jump a 4-ft. fence. Willow dreams of the security of a forever home. Come meet Willow. She is eager to complete your family.
Since Willow's estimated birthdate is 4/1/2013, her adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 25% discount on adoption fees]. If you want to know more about Willow and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application.
