Zeus has spent his short life alone, unloved and kept in a yard by himself. His basic needs of food and water were met, but he never got to experience the outside world. No trips to the park, no car rides, little if any affection. His world consisted of his yard and seeing his people.
His family decided they no longer wanted him and asked GSROC for help. When we learned of plight, we rushed to help him.
Zeus is now slowly learning about the outside world. Although he is obedience trained, his trainer has worked with him and he is slowly learning that humans can be friendly and fun. He is very cautious of strangers and you must earn his trust before he relaxes.
His trainer reports that once his trust is earned, he relaxes and is a love bug! Zeus walks well on a leash and follows commands.
Based on his history, we recommend Zeus be placed in an adult home with an experienced GSD owner. This boy has lots of love to give, all he needs is the right human.
