While I am only two years old, I have learned a lot in my young life. I was found as a stray about a year ago and brought to the Orange County Humane Society Animal Shelter. Here I received a medical check-up and was pronounced healthy; I have been vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped. I weigh 52 lbs and am smaller than I look in my photos. Because I had so much energy, I was considered a good candidate for professional training to channel my enthusiasm. Now I know many basic commands, walk well on leash, and am gentle when given treats.
I am well behaved with people, children, and other dogs, as long as they understand I still have bit of youthful exuberance in my personality. I am not great with cats because they liked to be chased and I am always ready for some playful fun. My liveliness is no doubt attributable to being a mix of three very active breeds: bull terrier, pointer, and pit bull terrier. It is no coincidence that I love to play with tennis balls; after all, my name is Wilson and that company makes great tennis balls! My trainer is confident I will be a great family dog, and he would be happy to provide additional training, when I make the transition from a shelter kennel to a home environment.
I am a good boy and wear a handsome black and white coat, no matter what the occasion. If you adopt me, I promise to be your loyal and true companion.
